CITY CENTRE OUTREACH
THURSDAY NIGHT OUTREACH
5:30 PM SET UP - 6:00 PM START
Thursday nights have been the outreach night from City Centre Church for more than 20 years. As an inner city church, we are called to respond to the needs of those who live in the core neighbourhoods that perhaps may struggle to get a meal. Thousands of people have been fed both spiritually and physically on these evenings as we provide free burgers and hot dogs in our parking lot throughout the summer months. Hot dogs, coffee and hot chocolate and a friendly place to warm up are provided indoors during the colder months of the year. Volunteers from numerous churches across our city have helped us provide a welcoming environment as we show the love of God to those around us.
CITY SERVE
SORT TIMES ARRANGED UPON SHIPMENTS
CityServe serves as a bridge that connects donated items from Canadian businesses to local supporting organizations and churches to better help them serve their communities. We believe in turning surplus into solutions by connecting household goods to groups that are committed to community transformation. Individuals are then impacted by these various groups reaching out across our city and province with tangible help for families in need. Across Canada, over $50 million of goods in kind have been distributed through the CityServe Canada network of charities and non-profit organizations.
THE OASIS
The Oasis Initiative will provide safe, supervised, public washrooms and shower facilities to the unhoused in Saskatoon’s Pleasant Hill and Riversdale neighbourhoods. The Oasis Initiative will also provide a place for basic and spiritual needs to be met in a safe, caring environment.
